How PennyPair works
PennyPair is a Solana launchpad where every coin trades against the tracker token of one US penny stock, and the coin's trading fees are paid to its holders in that tracker.
The flow
- For each listed stock we run a tracker token (pCNSP for CNSP). Anyone can buy it for USDC at the live share price at the desk on the stock's page, and sell it back for USDC the same way.
- A launcher names a coin, uploads a logo, picks one stock and pays the launch fee.
- The keeper mints the coin's whole supply, buys $1,000.00 of the tracker from the desk with our own money, and opens a Meteora pool of the coin against the tracker. We hold the pool's only position; it is locked, so the seed cannot be pulled.
- Every swap in the pool pays a fee to that position. The keeper claims it, turns it into tracker, keeps the ops slice and credits the rest to the coin's holders pro rata. A holder is paid once their share is worth $5.00 or more.
- Coins trade in their pool (on Meteora or through Jupiter), never on this site. The only trade here is the desk, and it trades with us.
What a tracker is, and is not
- It is a token whose desk price follows the real share price. It is not a share: no dividend from the company, no vote, no claim on the company at all.
- It is redeemable only at the PennyPair desk, for USDC at the live share price minus the desk fee. Nobody else has to take it.
- The desk is custodial: we hold the USDC in each stock's treasury and the power to mint the tracker. You rely on us to pay.
- Each tracker has a cap on how much can be out (supply × price). At the cap, the desk stops minting; sells are never refused.
- Outside US market hours (09:30–16:00 New York, weekdays, NYSE holidays excepted) the desk prices at the last close and charges the wider off-hours fee.
- If the price feed stops updating for 15 minutes in market hours, minting stops until it recovers; selling continues at the last price.
The risks
- Counterparty: we are short every tracker we sell. If a stock runs, the treasury pays out more than it took in; the cap bounds that, and if a sell cannot be paid at once it waits in line until USDC arrives.
- Feed: the share price comes from one market data feed. It can lag or stop; the rules above stop minting when it does.
- Coins: a coin can go to zero. The tracker its fees are paid in is only worth what the desk pays for it.
- Legal: a token that tracks a share price may be treated as a security where you live. See the terms.
